Director's Welcome

Taking those first steps in choosing a preschool education for your child can be a daunting experience for parents. Here at Holy Family Early Learning Centre we aim to work closely with families to provide the best possible early education for the children in our care. For some children this may be the very first time that they have been away from the family so we aim to work in partnership to ensure every child feels safe, engaged and secure and ready to develop a lifetime love of learning.

Our program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and reflects research based practices for optimal experiences for all children. Our classrooms and purpose built secure separate playground offer space where children can create, explore, learn and build an understanding of their world through a warm and caring environment supported by fully qualified preschool teachers and classroom assistants.

Children in the ELC enjoy many benefits gained from the close proximity to the Holy Family Primary School and Corpus Christi Church.  Weekly library sessions, prayer and school assemblies, cross country carnival, athletics carnival, trips to the infant playground, access to the school canteen and regular visits from the buddy classes help to create meaningful ties with the primary school and make for a smooth transition into kindergarten.

We offer part time preschool classes M-W and W-F and full time classes. We also offer Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care for our preschoolers. We aim to provide the highest quality of care for our youngest children to promote physical, spiritual, social and emotional well- being and a love of learning that will sustain them throughout their future schooling.
